This extended fuse box cover allows you to continue to use your OEM fuse cover even with Add-a-Fuses installed. Fuse taps add a significant amount of height, so the thin OEM fuse cover can no longer be used once an Add-a-Fuse has been used for modifications like adding ignition controlled lights or a dashcam.

This fuse cover is designed specifically for the 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner and is available for both pre-2020 and 2020+ models.

The fuse cover has an integrated slot for you to clip in the OEM fuse cover, so you can still use it for reference without losing it. There are cutouts on both sides of the fuse cover, but the outer side has an angled lip to prevent debris from entering. The other side is left open, as it is protected by a tall trim piece. These cutouts allow for easy wire routing while still providing adequate protection for the fuse box terminals.

The fuse cover is made of PETG, which is a durable material that can withstand temperatures up to 75°C (167°F). It is also less prone to warping and cracking than ABS, which is commonly used for 3D printing.

**Installation Note**

The 2020+ fuse cover is a tight fit due to Toyota extending the fuse box closer to the metal bracket located directly in front of it. As a result, you may not be able to install the fuse cover in the traditional way of pivoting it up into place. Instead, you may need to slide the cover in from the side and then position it so that the two prongs on the back of the fuse box align with the tabs on the fuse cover. Once they are aligned, you can easily pivot up and clip the cover into place.
